Quake
Quake is an excelent First person shooter that revolutionized the genre.
Just as it's predecesor, Doom, its graphics blew everything else out of
the water, but that's not what I'm talking about when I say it
revolutionized the genre. This game, also just like doom, brought with

play multiplayer games over the internet against up to 32 other players on a
28.8 modem with virtually no lag!
For the first time, you could turn on your computer, find a multiplayer game,
and start playing in under 5 minutes any time of the day. This is what makes
